פרימא רבא

פְּרַםch. sam(פרםexposed, bare), to cut, split, break into; to chop, hash. Sabb.74b האי מאן דפָרֵים סילקא (Var. in Ar. דפָרֵיס) he who minces beets (on the Sabbath). Ber.39a פַּרְמִינְהוּ פרימי רברבי Ms. M. (Ar. פירמי, ed. פרימא רבא) if he chopped them into large pieces. M. Kat. 25a פָּרוּם בבאוכ׳ Ar. (ed. פרוס; Ms. M. 2 פרוץ) they broke through the gate, and carried the body out; a. e.V. פְּרוֹמָאָה. Ithpe. אִיפְּרַם to be cut, chopped. Ḥull.30b sq. חזינן גידפי דמִיפַּרְמֵי we see that the feathers (of the throat) are cut through.
